Eastland Shopping Mall
Melbourne
Large extension and refurbishment works to an existing 1960's Shopping mall on the outskirts of Melbourne. The $665 million redevelopment completed in 2015.
In general, the shopping centre has been expanded by approximately 50% in retail space, from 80,000sqm to 131,000sqm, making it one of the largest shopping centres in Australia.
The aim of the design was to create a large vaulted open promenade, with high-end specifiation and detiling to match the luxurious nature of the retail on offer.
